About iwikie
iwikie stands for “I Wish I Knew It Earlier”. That’s the whole mission: surface the genuinely useful things before you waste days reinventing them.
How we curate
- Usefulness first. Can this tool (or source) save time, avoid pain, or unlock clarity today?
- No hype for hype’s sake. If a tool is all marketing and no substance, it won’t get listed.
- Evidence matters. For health, science, stats, etc. we link to reputable, peer-reviewed, or transparently sourced material where possible.
- Practical notes. Each listing tries to include “extras” — the non-obvious tricks that actually make it valuable in real life.
Why categories?
The early-2000s web had a weird charm: topic hubs. About.com did this well. iwikie is a modern, fast, no-popups version of that idea. Each category page works like a mini guide on that topic — AI tools, productivity, design, reliable sources, developer tooling, and so on.
Can I suggest a tool?
Yes. If you’ve found something that genuinely helped you get clarity, build faster, automate, learn, or save time: please send it here.
